Club Fundraiser – new Club Buggy

Dear Members,
We are embarking on a significant Club Fundraiser to facilitate the purchase a new Club Buggy.

This is much needed for members and will be hired regularly. We are grateful to generous members who allow us the use of their personal property currently, yet we need to reduce the over reliance on such generosity.

A Core Team of Ladies have kindly come forward to coordinate this venture and tickets are now available for purchase. The price is £10 per ticket. This team has assigned sellers (Mens and Ladies Clubs) Tickets will also be available in the Admin Office and Bar/Restaurant.
This Fundraising initiative has been supported and endorsed by Captain Niall and Joint Management Committee.
This is One Club vision in action.

There are fabulous prizes to be won-all sponsored, which is wonderful – Several 4 Balls in a variety of prestigious Golf Clubs. Carr Golf has sponsored three of these 4 Balls.
Our 1st prize is amazing: 4 Ball in Doonbeg Golf Club, including Helicopter transfer from Cill Dara (up to 6 people)
This super 1st prize has been so generously sponsored by:
• Raymond and Mary Conlan
• Alex and Mary Dick
• Ann and Betty Fitzpatrick
• John and Michelle Mc Cormack
• Loretta and Paul Noone.

Thank you for this truly incredible Prize and sponsorship.
We anticipate great interest in this raffle, and we believe that with your full engagement and support, this fundraiser will be a great success. Cill Dara never fails when it comes to uniting together for a worthy cause and we believe this is one of those times.
The outcome facility for members will be hugely beneficial and a worthwhile investment for all members in need of such Buggies.

Thank you all.
Captains Marguerite and Niall.

One Club Model – EGM Result

An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) was held Thursday May 25th at 20:30 (8:30pm).

The purpose of this EGM was to ratify and implement a One Club Model framework for Cill Dara Golf Club ahead of bringing a new, relevant, and fit for purpose constitution for consideration and acceptance at the annual AGM.

We are delighted to confirm that the motion was passed and ratified unanimously by the attendees at the EGM.

Many thanks to all who have worked on this to date, and all who attended the Information Evening and the EGM. Special thanks to Neil Kilgallon from Golf Ireland for all his support.
This is just the first step on the journey – much done, more to do.

The Ultimate Underdog Story As Cill Dara GC Upset All The Odds

Wonderful short documentary detailing how Cill Dara Golf Club captured their 1st All-Ireland Team Championship.

“Golf may be considered as an individual sport, however, there are hundreds of golf clubs across the country which provide a sense of community, passion and love for the game for people of all ages. Cill Dara Golf Club is one of these and in 2016, they were crowned All-Ireland champions when they won the Jimmy Bruen Shield.”
